YMCA in Montenegro Founded

On 15th Dec the YMCA of Montenegro was registered nationally with the Ministry of Internal Affairs as Non-Government Organization.

The Initiative core group has been in contact with the YMCA Europe since the beginning of November 2011, obtained all the information and training that is necessary for the leadership of new movements. Because of this and their previous involvement in community life, they are aware of the role that YMCA as an NGO may play in the society. They are taking the responsibility for their association consciously.

Now the initiative group is in the process of development the institutional structures, working out the mission statement and the vision of their organization. Simultaneously they are planning the activities to be launched as the first. It seems that the Healthy Life and Social Inclusiveness will be the overall activity areas.
