Every year on 5th of december, the Baia Mare community celebrates International Volunteer`s Day
On 2011. this event was organised together by 11 NGOs from the town, as a Volunteer `s Fair. The host of this event was Gold Plaza mall, where on the ground floor each organisation brought their promotional materials, came with programms, learned from each other and had fun: handcrafts, facepainting, games, peotry recitals, dance workshops, juggling, animation games. TENSING YMCA was one of the attractions of the day, their concert with carols, Christmas songs, gospel and rock covers pulled the audience to stand up and dance , get into the mood, spreading a positive message and promoting healthy lifestyles.
